Art can sing.

They cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. Acts 16:22-25

Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises onto God even when they were severely beaten and thrown into prison. I think I can praise God with my art as well when I see the glory of God in His creation and try to mimic the artistry with my small hands.

Bravely sitting in front of a blank canvas, I start to create something out of nothing.  I don’t try to be perfect in re-creating what I see. My eyes feast in the beauty of the subject at hand and my hands eagerly go to work to portray the subject.  Then, when I see something even remotely similar to what my eyes see miraculously appear on the canvas, how amazing it is!  My art is an act of admiration.
